The University is located at 8360 Old York Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027 the intersection of Pennsylvania State Routes 611 and 73 (Old York Road (Rt. 611) and Townships Line Road (Rt. 73) in Elkins Park, PA. For specific door-to-door driving directions, please go to Google

By Train/Bus:

Transportation options exist from the Philadelphia International Airport and Amtrak's 30th Street Station.  Public transportation includes Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) subways, buses, and commuter trains, as well as express rail service from the airport. 

If you take SEPTA regional rail, the University is close to the Jenkintown train station (a major junction with express train service) and the Elkins Park train station. A taxi or SEPTA bus can bring you to the University from both stations.

If you choose SEPTA bus service, there are bus stops across the street from the University, beside and in front of the University, on both Old York and Township Line Roads, depending on your direction.

By Taxi:

Visitors also may choose to travel via taxi or limousine service. If you are taking a taxi, please be aware that some taxi drivers may not recognize the name Salus University yet, but will know the name Pennsylvania College of Optometry. The approximate flat rate for a taxi from the airport to the University is $70.00 (for estimation purposes only – this is not a fare quote).

Several of the area hotels have airport shuttle vans that provide pick you up and delivery service to and from the hotel. Your hotel may be able to assist you with transportation to our campus and we recommend inquiring about this service when making reservations.

Hotel/Motel Accomodations:

Hotels located in Willow Grove, Horsham and Ft. Washington PA are within a twenty minute car or taxi ride of the campus.
