Students Make and Tryout Adaptive Mobility Devices.
Students made versions of the Bundu Basher, a cane originally designed for remote rural travel in South Africa. One student made a Bundu Basher tip for a rigid cane and a collapsible Bundu Basher cane. Students tried out its effectiveness in the snow and in particular staying in narrow pathways made in the snow. The results were terrific.
The whole class displaying their adaptive canes and having a bit of fun in the cold State College Winter.
