Clinical Problem Solving Classrooms
Located on the second floor of the Cottet Library, the University’s Clinical Problem Solving (CPS) classrooms offer our optometry students a wide range of databases and case files from which to research, discuss and gather evidence, as they study individual cases. CPS courses begin in the first term of the first year for our students, illustrating the importance of the development of critical thinking skills.
Consisting of four, under-table mounted computers with wireless access, each room also contains a 35 inch LCD TV for in-class projection from the instructor’s computer and an attached DVD/VHS player combination. Optometry students and their faculty advisor meet weekly in these rooms, which are available as group study rooms for all students when not in use as classrooms.
