Global, Interprofessional, and Specialized Programming designs and implements master’s, certificate, micro-credential, interprofessional, and continuing education for health care professions in collaboration with Drexel University’s colleges and external partners.
Mission
The mission of Global, Interprofessional, and Specialized Programming is to provide innovative degree programs and professional development offerings, including interprofessional education for collaborative practice (IPECP), to improve student, patient, client, and community outcomes both nationally and internationally.
BLVS program were developed at Salus University in 1983, the first institution in the country to offer four master's degrees and certificates in these areas of study.

Our work currently includes the development of policies and procedures to facilitate IPECP, expanding faculty development opportunities in IPECP, and designing, developing, and delivering practical, clinical, and experiential learning opportunities for pre- and post-licensure health professions learners.

Global, Interprofessional, and Specialized Programming (GISP) offers international degree and certificate programs designed specifically for international cohorts. GISP provides individualized student support services, including assistance with housing, integration into the University and local community, celebration of cultural events, organization of field trips, and securing mentors and tutors.
