Christina Reagle, Public Advisory Council Member

Helen Keller Fellows

Dr. Reagle is an Associate Research Fellow who joined The Teaching Research Institute after working at Oregon Department of Education. Christina has comprehensive experience in K-12, adult, and university teaching; research and evaluation; teacher quality; program coordination; educational professional development; and grant writing. She has been the key administer and lead evaluator for both federal and state grants. Working in rural Alaska for 33 years provided many opportunities to participate in unique program development across different groups and systems.

Her current work involves coordinating with ten universities across the nation to support and provide technical assistance to candidates selected as Helen Keller Fellows. The HK Fellows program is an OSEP-funded project that focuses on increasing personnel in the field of deaf-blindness. Christina has several other projects she coordinates for TRI and she is the current Chair of the Institutional Review Board at Western Oregon University.

When not working Christina enjoys being outdoors, looking for sunshine, and spending time with family and friends.
