Anticipated Joint Program Offering

Residency Program in Primary Care/Masters of Science Degree Program in Biomedicine

With the approval of the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE), the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University is anticipating the launch of a joint Residency Program in Primary Care/Master of Science Degree in Biomedicine program in July 2014. 

Candidates for this two year joint program will be Doctors of Optometry who are committed not only to expanding their clinical expertise and experience, but who are also interested in acquiring additional credentials in biomedical research in their pursuit of developing new science, equipment, pharmaceuticals, procedures, or products that assist in the management of various conditions.

Note:  For logistical reasons, two candidates must be matched for this program.  If only one candidate matches, he or she will be offered a position in the traditional Primary Care Residency program.
