Safety and Security

Annual Safety Reports

Salus University is concerned about the safety and welfare of our students, faculty,
staff, and visitors and committed to providing a safe and secure environment.

Campus safety at the University is a responsibility shared by all stakeholders. The vast majority of our students, faculty, staff and visitors do not experience crime at either of our two campuses – Elkins Park main campus and Oak Lane campus (The Eye Institute); however, crime sometimes occurs despite our efforts to ensure everyone’s safety and the security of our campuses.

The information in the documents shown here is provided as part of Salus University’s continuing commitment to on-campus safety and security, in compliance with the Pennsylvania Uniform Crime Reporting Act, and the Federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, more commonly known as the Clery Act.

Concerns or questions related to these documents or the applicable statutes should be directed to the Office of Safety and Security at 215.780.1402 or security@salus.edu, or by US mail to: Salus University, Office of Director of Safety and Security, 8360 Old York Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027.
