2016 Physician Assistant Alumnus of the Year: Gregory F. Ranalli, MMS '13, PA-C

The Salus University Alumni Association is proud to name Gregory F. Ranalli the inaugural Physician Assistant Alumnus of the Year for his contributions to both his patients and the students of Salus University. The award presentation will take place on October 5, 2016 during the Physician Assistant Long White Coat Ceremony.

Gregory F. Ranalli graduated with highest honors from the Salus University Physician Assistant Studies program in 2013. Specializing in orthopaedic surgery, Ranalli currently treats patients at Pennsylvania Hospital’s Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeons, where he also serves as a preceptor for Salus physician assistant students. Prior to his career as a physician assistant, Ranalli served as an athletic trainer at Windham High School, NovaCare Rehabilitation, and Valley Forge Military Academy & College.
 
Ranalli has published multiple research articles in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning, and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership and Honors Organization. In addition to his Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Salus University, Ranalli holds a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation science from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Connecticut. In recognition of Ranalli’s contributions to his patients and the students of Salus University, the Alumni Association is proud to name Ranalli the inaugural Physician Assistant Alumnus of the Year.
