Salus Welcomes Physician Assistant Faculty

Over the past year, Salus University has had the pleasure of welcoming new faculty to its Physician Assistant (PA) Studies Department:

Jeanne-Marie Pennington, PA-CJeanne-Marie Pennington, PA-C, has been named clinical coordinator. In her new position, Pennington will collaborate with department leadership on curricular design and implementation of clinical courses as well as the procurement, development, and maintenance of supervised clinical practice sites. With primary care experience in underserved areas, Pennington currently practices as an emergency medicine physician assistant at Phoenixville Hospital.

“Making the transition from clinical practice to education seemed daunting, but the community atmosphere here at Salus—and especially the PA Program faculty and staff—have made it feel seamless,” Pennington said.

Adam J. Moore, MHS, PA-C, ATC, has been appointed assistant professor. In this role, Moore will serve as a principal faculty member in the PA program to ensure the educational environment demonstrates qualities needed to provide a superior medical education. Moore currently works as an urgent care physician assistant in the Virtua Health System in New Jersey.

"The faculty, staff, and students at Salus have been the most welcoming group of people that I have ever worked with,” Moore said. “The environment is always pleasant and professional. I look forward to my future experiences here at Salus University.”
