Under a new 4+2 BA/BS-MSOT articulation agreement, Salus University will reserve four seats for qualified Arcadia University students seeking an advanced degree in Occupational Therapy (OT).
Salus’ Occupational Therapy Department offers a sequential degree program that encourages qualified Arcadia graduates with a 3.25 or higher GPA to pursue a graduate degree in the Master’s of Occupational Therapy program at Salus. Students must also complete the University’s interview process and meet all other admissions requirements.
Lauren Sponseller, chair of the OT department and assistant professor at Salus, believes the new agreement will mutually benefit both universities.
“With Arcadia’s outstanding academic programs and reputation, this collaboration will be beneficial to both institutions,” she said. “Our OT students are clinically strong, grounded by theory, with a passion for inter-professional practice. This agreement reflects the shared interests and values of both institutions.”
Always devoted to finding the strongest candidates for its program, this agreement marks the OT Department’s second with an undergraduate institution. In 2016, Salus entered into a similar articulation agreement with Drexel University.
