Alumni from all our programs recently provided memories from their time as students here on campus. Below is one excerpt from the collection.
I'm grateful for my time at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. It had a great reputation and was one of the closest optometry schools to my home in North Carolina.
I knew I wanted to become an optometrist since middle school and I'm glad I chose this path. I made some lifelong friends at the school and even ended up buying my classmate's dad's practice nine years later. I was able to participate in flag football and golf, and I'm thankful for the education and patient care experiences I received.
It prepared me well for the rigorous state boards and I was able to pass on my first try. I'm grateful for the knowledge and skills I gained at Salus University, which has allowed me to have a successful career.
