Shannon Snyder, Occupational Therapy

Why did you choose Salus?

Shannon in her white coatI chose Salus because of the meaningful connections I made to the faculty during my interview process! It was clear to me that they cherished the Salus community and their professions, which made me ecstatic to join the Salus Occupational Therapy program. Since I am a commuter, the location and surrounding area was a perfect fit for me and I knew it would allow for various fieldwork opportunities, as well as chances to volunteer throughout the community. Another reason I chose Salus is because the campus is beautiful and feels very professional which is fitting for graduate programs. During orientation week, the professors and faculty firmly stressed that they are there to support and guide us through our time in graduate school which was very reassuring for me. I have only ever heard positive things about Salus and I cannot wait to grow and develop throughout my journey in their MSOT program.
