Interprofessional Collaborative Practice, entry level (IPCPe) is a professional development opportunity open to students in all University professional programs, offered in collaboration with the Bennett Career Services Center.
Through IPCPe, students can earn microcredential badges that document entry-level proficiency in collaborative care.
- A microcredential is a short, focused credential that provides in-demand skills, know-how, and experience.
- A badge is a displayable digital technology that represents competencies and various learning achievements.
Earning Badges
Interested students attend a series of four Interprofessional Learning Activities (IPLAs), which are scheduled during non-class hours. There are no credits and no grades. Students who successfully complete all four IPLAs, in sequential order, are awarded four microcredential badges, one for each of the four core competencies for collaborative practice (IPEC Competencies), plus a fifth, culminating badge.
IPLAs meet synchronously (either virtually or in person) for two hours and require up to an hour of asynchronous pre-work.
To learn more about each IPLA, visit the IPLA Schedule page.
