About Student Organization & Club Visits
We encourage student pre-professional clubs and organizations interested in our health science programs to visit our campus! We conduct information sessions and campus tours with your club’s members in mind that can be customized to maximize your trip to our campus.
The Office of Admissions is able to accommodate student groups during the spring and summer terms (March through July), 2:00pm or later during weekdays. While we can also accommodate your group for a weekend visit, your experience would be better enhanced when class is in session and students are on campus.
The visit options described below are designed for groups of 5 or more pre-professional students who will be on campus as part of a special club visitation.
Student Club Visit Options
Information Session: University admissions counselors and current students will describe the academic experience and discuss how our diverse clinical opportunities, value, and location will enhance your experience. You will also receive admissions tips and ways to become a more competitive applicant.
Campus Tour: A current student will bring your group on a guided tour of the Elkins Park campus. Students will see our state of the art laboratories, high-tech classrooms and the Hafter Student Community Center. Depending on the scheduled date and time, a tour of our clinical facilities may also be an option.
Clinical Skills Lab Demonstration: Current students will demonstrate the use of clinical laboratory equipment and show various clinical skills associated with your program of interest.
In order to ensure we have staff members and current students available to assist your group, reservations must be made in advance at a minimum of 4 weeks. Please have an alternate visit date in mind when you make your reservation, in the event that your first choice is not available.
Our staff can tailor the visit to meet the needs of your club so don’t hesitate to ask us about what more we can do to enhance your visit.
