Hear what our alumni have to say about the Salus University Occupational Therapy programs:

"Salus University provided me with a high quality, affordable, and well-rounded Occupational Therapy education. The MSOT faculty are highly knowledgeable, caring, and experts in their areas of expertise. Salus provided me with two Level II Fieldwork experiences in acute care and outpatient hand therapy, both of which gave me the experience and expertise to succeed at my current job. I highly recommend Salus to anyone interested in receiving a high quality education!" -Sara

“Salus University’s strong interdisciplinary approach, as well as early clinical exposure, prepared me for my position working in home care. I felt confident, post-graduation, working independently [and] bringing my clinical skills into my patients' homes to make them safer and more independent. It is vital in the setting that I work in that I have constant collaboration with the other disciplines involved in the case to provide the best care to our patients. I became a new graduate mentor shortly after graduating from Salus for new graduates pursuing a career in home care making house calls. It has been a little over six years since graduating from Salus University’s inaugural OT class and I cannot thank the amazing and dedicated faculty [enough] for my successful career thus far in Occupational Therapy. -Kylie

"My name is Mauli Chothani and I graduated from the Occupational Therapy program in October 2020. My experiences at Salus were so memorable. All of the professors in the department are so approachable and accommodating. I learned so much during the didactic coursework and I grew as a clinician. My favorite memory is being president of the Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) and organizing a 5K mud run called Muckfest, in order to raise awareness for multiple sclerosis. We raised over $2,500 and had 36 Salus students join the Salus Salamanders team. This was a huge step out of my comfort zone but I had so much fun!" -Mauli
