Salus OT Honor Society Holds First Induction

Occupational Therapy Students - Honor SocietyStudents in the Occupational Therapy (OT) Classes of 2014 and 2015 initiated the process of becoming a chapter of Pi Theta Epsilon chapter, the national honor society for Occupational Therapy students. In February, the University’s Delta Mu chapter of Pi Theta Epsilon was recognized by the American Occupational Therapy Foundation and on September 1, OT faculty and students attended the chapter’s first induction ceremony.

The inductees were welcomed by Dean Audrey Smith of the University’s College of Education and Rehabilitation; program director and department chair, Dr. Fern Silverman, and chapter faculty advisor, Ms. Andrea Carr Tyszka, MS, OTR/L, SIPT.

The newest Pi Theta Epsilon Delta Mu chapter members are all Class of 2016:
