The University’s Audiology program was founded as the School of Audiology at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) in 2000 and started on the principle of raising the bar globally for audiology. And that’s exactly what it has done for the past 25 years, making it one of the leading audiology programs in the country.
As we celebrate the program’s 25th anniversary in 2025, the foundational cornerstone of our programs continues to lie with our curriculum design where we focus on evidence-based practices while meeting the student's academic needs to be consistent with current science and advances. The advantage of our programs is that they are built around our hands-on labs, training and educational approach, where students examine the patient’s needs as a whole and not just their ears.
