A Night to Remember

Salus Soiree Mask WinnerThe Annual Salus Soiree proved to be a great success on Friday, April 10, as disguised Salus revelers gathered for a fun-filled evening at the Free Library of Philadelphia. The masquerade-themed event, hosted by Student Council's Campus Activities Committee in conjunction with the Office of Student Affairs, had a wonderful turnout.

According to Monae Kelsey, associate director of Student Engagement and assistant director of Admissions, the crowd took to the masquerade theme with gusto. “This year’s Soiree was a huge hit. It’s great to see the legacy continue with excellent planning from the Campus Activities Committee,” she said. The level of excitement and participation from the students and this year’s venue also contributed to the evening, according to Ms. Kelsey, who noted, “I really enjoyed the masquerade theme this year and was blown away by the effort put into finding killer masks!”

50/50 Soiree Raffle WinnersGuests enjoyed a buffet dinner by Brulee Catering, delicious cocktails, a prop-filled photo booth, and a dance party hosted by DJ Darryl Burrs from the Office of Technology and Library Services. Hayden Davis ‘18OD won the coveted 50/50 raffle prize, and guest Stefan “Max” Tishim was the proud victor of the best mask contest.
