Salus President Dr. Michael Mittelman announced the appointment of Beth Moy, MSW, as the new chief of staff, and she officially started in December. When Moy visited Salus in her former role as the executive director of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Consortium for Higher Education (SEPCHE), she never forgot the experience. Faculty Focus: Dr. Jeffrey Nyman

It’s been 44 years since Dr. Jeffrey Nyman joined the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO). Currently, an associate professor and the director of Emergency Services at The Eye Institute (TEI) of Salus, he’s been instrumental in helping PCO/Salus continue to grow and advance the profession of optometry. Bridging the Gap for the Vision Impaired

The University’s Blindness and Low Vision Studies (BLVS) department recently developed and implemented a pilot program in partnership with Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, specifically for Vanderbilt’s on-staff Physical Therapists (PTs), that provided Orientation and Mobility (O&M) skills-based training PTs could offer their patients.
