As we embark on another academic year, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to our new and returning students. This year promises to be particularly exciting and historic as we integrate with Drexel University.
As you immerse yourselves in studies and campus life, I remind you how imperative it is to take care of your overall well-being. Developing good habits around eating, sleeping, and exercise will not only support your academic success, but also your personal growth. Remember that your mental and physical health are connected and crucial to your journey here.
To support you in maintaining a healthy balance, our Center for Personal and Professional Development is available to assist you. Whether managing stress, developing effective study routines, or finding the right resources to support your well-being, our team is here to help.
We stand on the cusp of new opportunities, enriched experiences, and the chance to contribute to a shared legacy of excellence. Whether you are just beginning your journey with us or are returning to continue your studies, you are an essential part of this vibrant community.
Let’s make this year one of growth, discovery, and achievement together.
We will keep you informed as we await final approval of our merger from the U.S. Department of Education. If all goes as planned, our we will fully integrate with Drexel next summer. Remember, this won’t change your programs, but it will provide many additional options already available at Drexel. As I mentioned this week at our exciting White Coat ceremonies, today you join our Salus salamanders. When you graduate, you’ll be a Drexel dragon!
Let me reiterate how thrilled we are to welcome our new and returning students to Salus at Drexel. I look forward to seeing you around our beautiful campus.
