As part of Salus University's intended merger with Drexel University, pending approval by the United States Department of Education, specialized accreditors and additional third parties, many of the Salus University programs are anticipated to be under the umbrella of Drexel's College of Nursing and Health Professions.
The Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions (CNHP) is committed to transforming how health care and wellness are delivered. Its mission is not only teaching students to be great caregivers, but also preparing them to be leaders. Home to 83 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs of study — many that are highly ranked and yield licensure and certification pass rates well above national averages — CNHP focuses on delivering an interprofessional educational experience that teaches students how to successfully work within and lead a variety of interdisciplinary teams.
A distinctive feature at Drexel is its unique model of experiential education. The University offers the power of real-world experience, through simulation, clinical rotations, faculty expertise, research and student, community and global engagement, allowing students to push the boundaries of what they can achieve.
