Audiology Reflections: Bre Myers, AuD '06, PhD '17, CH-AP

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Audiology programs, we asked alumni, faculty, and students about their reflections on the program. Here is what they had to say:

Bre Myers, AuD ‘06, PhD ‘17, CH-AP

Assistant dean for Foundations and Assessment of Audiologic Medicine

2024 headshot of Bre MyersI had just received my master's, but I knew I wanted to continue my education in audiology. When I looked at all of the faculty involved in this Distance Education program back in the early 2000s, I was blown away, and I was really excited to gain many more diverse perspectives as a young professional. So, it was a no-brainer for me.

Being mission-driven and having that goal of providing the best education for our students and looking at each student and how they learn individually. We're also large enough to provide a number of different learning opportunities and lab equipment, and stations so our students really get that hands-on experience before they leave, not just the didactic portion of the curriculum.
