Second-Year Occupational Therapy Student: Jordan DiEmidio

Hi, my name is Jordan and I'm an Occupational Therapy student at Salus. Today I'll be taking you through a little day in my life.

Class started at 9:00 a.m. today, so I got everything I needed [including] my iPad computer to get ready for the day. Me and my friend carpool, so she picked me up today; our commute is about 40 minutes in the morning and afternoon. We are in our geriatric semester, so we had our lecture then after we had to film a group project at lunch. We did that all together and ate a little bit, then went into our lab session for today. [We’re] perfecting our transfers for competency, which is coming up in the next two weeks in our finals, [and] preparing for fieldwork, too. Then we went into our second part of our lab, which is classroom lab, just going over assessments on how to assess our geriatric clients and patients.

Ending the day going home, just debriefing about everything. Then to end my night, I get home, I eat something. I got right away started with completing any assignments I have left, starting to study for finals, which start in two weeks, and that is a little day in my life.
