Questions and Answers with Andrew Meagher, OD '15, Resident '16 Instructor, Pennsylvania College of Optometry
To mark 100 years of Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO), we asked four faculty members about their experiences at PCO and what they hope for the next 100 years.
Why did you choose optometry?
I chose optometry mainly because it improves the quality of one’s life and I am able to use the tools I’ve learned to do just that.
Why did you choose PCO?
I am a visual and hands on learner. I knew I was able to get into clinic very quickly at PCO and it’d be the best way I could learn and propel myself in the profession.
Next 100 Years?
I feel like PCO accomplished so much in the past 100 years. I hope we continue to carry on traditions and continue to be able to create and develop great doctors.
