Salus University continues a legacy that began almost 100 years ago with the founding of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO). Dr. Albert Fitch, PCO’s founder, was considered a visionary by his peers yet a revolutionary by others. Setting the stage for those who followed him, PCO’s history is rich with pioneers who created a curricula based on biomedical sciences, raised the bar for professional standards, and fought for legislation that would expand each professions’ scope of practice.
Now, as Salus University celebrates its 10th anniversary, and the founding college celebrates its 100th anniversary, we invite our alumni and friends to honor the legacy that has shaped the professions it serves.
In order to continue the rich legacy of PCO and Salus University, we are asking for a donation of $100 for the 100 years of excellence.
Your contribution will support student financial aid, scholarships, faculty and curriculum development, classroom technology, building improvements, and more.
