2014 - First Salus Awards Gala was held at Congregation Keneseth Israel. The University’s Student Council hosted a formal dinner after which awards for diverse categories were presented. This year the Student Council opened the balloting to include faculty and staff as well as some new categories such as “Most Likely to Know Your Name” and “Unsung Hero Award.”
2014 - Salus Scoop is introduced by Student Council. The event is an information-gathering session for new students held outside and combined with a block party atmosphere that is fun and relaxing after the first full week of classes.
2015 - A select group of first-year students from different programs serve as Salus University Student Ambassadors at events both on and off the campus. Since the program’s inception, Salus Student Ambassadors participate in the fall commencement, Looking Out for Kids Charity Fundraiser, and admissions events.
2016 - Sal The Salamander debuts as the University’s first mascot.
2016 - The Speech-Language Institute celebrates its one-year anniversary.
2017 – PCO becomes one of fewer than 12 optometry colleges to add a state-of-the-art virtual reality simulation lab for students to practice direct and indirect ophthalmoscopy.
2018 - The Eye Institute celebrates 40 years of service to the Oak Lane community while Salus University celebrates its 10th anniversary as a multidisciplinary institution.
2019- PCO celebrates 100 years of optometric education and clinical service.
