What are some of your favorite memories from Salus/PCO – favorite classes, professors, classmates, clinical experiences, co-workers?
During my PhD I had to climb Mount Everest to measure the ocular surface temperature and the retinal venous pressure of my subject group. Nothing beats science combined with adventure. Thanks to Salus University and my wonderful advisor Prof. Pierrette Dayhaw-Barker!
Tell me about your life after Salus/PCO – where do/did you practice, how long?
My wife and I have been running my father’s optometry practice in Bern, Switzerland since 2003. Thanks to our PCO and Salus knowledge, we tripled our practice and are now the leading optometrist center in Switzerland.
As Salus/PCO celebrates 100 years in 2019, what are your hopes for the college in the next 100 years?
Growth, success, wonderful new students and keeping a leading position in U.S. optometry.
